Since 1975

Symbio has continued to make strides in our milestones since the company’s inception in 1975. From the ﬁrst ofﬁce in Rocklea, supplying cleaning products to the Food Processing Industry. To the current headquarters in Heathwood, which opened in 2007.

Our Director, Guy Warner, started at Symbio in 1981. Since then, he has learnt everything there is to know about the industries our cleaning chemicals support.

In 2000, Guy and his family purchased Symbio, taking the company to the next level.

Since then, Symbio has grown into a recognised and dominating player in the chemical and detergent industry. As evident, with Symbio being awarded the Queensland Department of Education supplier in 2021 to 2024 for all Queensland schools.

Symbio’s long history from 1975 to today, is fast approaching 50 years in the cleaning industry. Every year Symbio expands into new industries, helping new clients, such as in Medical, Hospitality, Education, Food Processing and so many more.

Symbio launches its new website, showcasing the industries that we specialise in to provide our community with more information on our products and services.

2022

Awarded the DoE contract

Symbio was awarded the Queensland Department of Education Government contract, supplying the education facilities in QLD with cleaning products and services.

2021

Symbio Direct is launched

Symbio launches their new website, showcasing the industries that we specialise in to provide our community with more information on our products and services.

2020

Brand Re-Fresh

Symbio undertook a complete brand refresh, bringing a new modern and progressive positioning to the brand, products and services for the further growth and development of the business.

2019

Symbio warehouse upgrade

To make room for a developing business, Symbio makes changes to the warehouse. Increasing space to assist with accommodating high volume production, a growing team and business.

2018

CTS Launched

Symbio's Chemical Training Service (CTS) is launched for all users of the Symbio products, to assist them in the correct way of use and to support our clients.

2010

Our Big Move

Symbio opens the Heathwood HQ, allowing for more space for the business to grow and develop, create new formulations and increase production.

2007

White Labelling Started!

To support our customers in any way, our white labelling service, BYOB, was launched, so customers can bring their own brand full circle with their own cleaning chemicals.
